Rebecca Triche is principal consultant for Miradelta Consulting, specializing in program and management capacity support for nonprofit organizations.  Rebecca has more than 10 years of experience in nonprofit management, including grant management, program development and implementation, fundraising, event planning, workshop facilitation, and outreach planning to engage government, business and citizen groups. 

Project: Provide outreach and project management for Acadiana RC&D Council’s Energizing Rural Business program to promote the benefits of energy efficiency to rural small businesses in the Acadiana region

Project: Coordinate volunteer program for National Wildlife Federation to address the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, including volunteer recruitment, training, promotion.

Rebecca’s recent work has focused on environmental, community and business recovery efforts in Louisiana after hurricane Katrina. 

  • Senior Coordinator for National Wildlife Federation’s Coastal Louisiana Habitat Restoration Initiative – directed implementation of an award-winning, one-year project recruiting volunteers to restore wetland habitat after hurricanes Katrina and Rita in Louisiana.
  • Program Associate for Housing, Small Business Development and Public Policy with Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation – developed grant making strategies for housing and small business recovery in parishes impacted by hurricane Katrina.
  • Deputy Director and Communications Director for the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana – engaged government agencies, business interests and citizens in comprehensive coastal restoration planning.  
  • Special Assistant, Office of Fraud Prevention Programs, U.S. Department of State.
  • Peace Corps volunteer – worked with an organization focused on health care reform and physician training in Kazakhstan. 

Rebecca holds a bachelor of arts in mass communication from Louisiana State University and a master of public administration from The George Washington University.
